Quick turn round in Innellan

Loose track of what we have told everyone, but we managed to get back to Innellan and its amazing how good you feel when you walk through the door, look out through the French windows and see the tremendous view. Its amazing.

Whilst here we were kept exceedingly busy, sorting out the garden. Not masses, but we had to collect the vegetables that managed to survive. And of course cut back the meadow section and remove the weeds that always seem to better than anything you plant. And of course we had to feed the birds again. It took a day before a host of pheasant turned up to collect the overflows. One male and eight girls. Not all girls, some were fairly well worn old birds in all the sense of the word.
That wasn't all, we had also received six nights of BnB bookings. We had only just opened them up to sell and bank, they flooded in. We even had to turn another eight bed nights down. So its looking good for the next year.
Must say we are quite proud with how it looks. Judith has done a great job of dressing the rooms.

We also had to get into the new building plot and tidy the place up, so many large trees had fallen over the years and these needed to be cut and stacked for the future.
After four days hard work we had achieved marvels. Judith's log stacks were magnificent.

You may not be aware of it , be we also love fires, in fact we are pyromaniacs in our spare time.

Soon we were back to Dover and taking Gwen out for her 91st birthday lunch at Eastwell Manor.

She didn't want to leave any of the chocolate on the plate
Beautiful gardens, and the weather was so kind to us

Another two lunches, a couple of afternoon teas plus a trip up to the cliffs to see the marine traffic plying the Dover channel.

Judith and l walked along the cliffs for 20 minutes whilst Gwen demolished Welsh Rarebit and a pot of tea.
