Oceana 35 days heading to the Caribbean

****************FULL REPORT WILL BE ADDED SHORTLY**************
JUST GETTING THE PHOTOS UP WHILST WE HAVE FAST HIGH SPEED BROADBAND

February and its dry but cold, but we are heading for the sun on the P&O Oceana out of Southampton.

Caught the coach in Dover at 5am heading for London and then down to Southampton.

Traffic into London was mad as usual and we arrived 30 minutes late and had to rush for our connection. Not easy when you have all your overweight luggage with you, suitcases, holdalls, rucksacks, handbags. Needn’t have worried, the incoming bus had also been delayed due to a fatal accident on the motorway up from Southampton.

First impressions were good, smooth efficient check in, and it wasn’t long before we were up in the buffet for lunch.
Cabin was good enough, clean and had everything we needed.

Lifeboat drill went off without and serious injuries, even though people were determined to strangle themselves and other guests in the process of fitting jackets. As always you have the odd moron, the 75 year old school boy,  who finds the whistle and flashing light.

First night and the following day we travel down towards our first port of call, La Caruna in Spain.

Depart from Spain for seven nights at sea.

Plenty of rain in the distance, and the swells are quite lumpy which makes this old tub rock.
