View from hall into open plan living area |
View of 3.5m deck ready for concrete screeding. Need to lay the damp proof membrane then top it with reinforcing mesh |
Hallway looking towards the stairs |
Power point template set at 400mm above floor with light switches being between 90 and 110mm |
Supports for fixing vertical column radiators |
Plasterboard goes up quickly, but because the walls are taller than the standard 2400, we will have to infill the bottom and top. |
Ring main going through cavity |
All windows and doors taped and sealed with silver tape |
Sealing tape fitted, this is then covered with 25mm of insulation before screwing on the plasterboard. All joints are sealed with waterproof glazing seal. |
Ring main and satellite wires fitted including external power supply through a fused spur |
Protective concrete is poured behind the fire |
Temporary holes are cut prior to fitting the drywall box's for the supply tails |
Using 22mm Hep2o for the last section of flow and return. All pipe sections have been insulated with wool instead of the solid insulation. This makes it so much easier to get it under piping |
Top section of the concrete poured |
All concreting completed and formers removed. We used rough planks to give a wooden grain impression in the cement. |
Interesting to see what it looks like once it has completely dried out |
Vestibule has the floor fitted. This is set 22mm below the standard to allow for coir matting to be layed |
last section of internal walling moved until we have room to fit in the guest bedroom |
