Great time meeting up with friends, eating , drinking and plenty of walks

After our initial fears concerning a damp house, we settled down to life in France. And as usual it was frenetic. Out most days, meeting old friends, going out for lunches and dinners and meeting up with both old and new walking groups.

When we were not walking with the groups we took advantage of the mirad of tracks that spread around and linked the villages close by. Including the old mill at the top of the hill at the back of us.The mill was restored and now offered great 360 degree views across the area. No wonder it was used by the Germans during the second world war.

As per usual, there wasn't a shortfall of wildlife to see if you kept your eyes open.

Out with the Brie sur Chalais group every week , first thing in the morning before the sun heated up too much.
Made lots of new friends as well as meeting up with old friends
