floods in Kent

The New Year has arrived but the weather has been awful in this part of the world. Storms are coming over from the states and smashing the Southern part of England. Kent has taken a battering with high tides combining with gale force winds of over 70mph and overflowing rivers to make it a nightmare for many. Fortunately, in Dover we are lucky enough to be sheltered from the worst of the weather. Yet the rain is still falling and last night we had lightening and thunder.
Other parts of Kent have suffered from blackouts and flooding.
Armageddon is coming.
On Sunday we drive up to Carlisle to see our accountant prior to visiting Innellan. Guess what, snow is forecast.
