from a distance they looked like a pair of sealions, on closer inspection they are two rocks sticking out the water

 

Glorious mountain views to the North, pity about the gravel store in the foreground

Mull in the distance with rain and fog blocking out the channel between the island and the mainland

we walked along the coastal path until we couldn't walk any further

Various rocks and boulders are enclosed in molten lava, aged by erosion from the ice, wind and sea. Amazing contrasting colours against the clear cold waters teaming with wildlife.
