and there are more visits, more work on the garden and of course the Pizza oven & party to celebrate

We visited Kate in her garden with the massive tree only a few feet away from her house. She had a lucky escape. But she slept through all of the storm from all accounts.
Then over the path to visit Richard and Sandra.

 Jo and Tony have made their patio very attractive, fountain, potted shrubs and hanging baskets.

Roses grow on you, or so they say. Perhaps l need a haircut. Or is that a prune!

We then decide to repair the bread oven and make it more efficient and reduce the internal measurements.
Ultimately we wanted to cook pizzas in it. And we did. A great success.
But it did take three goes to get it exactly right.
We started with a fire in the oven 4 hours before we needed it. Waste of wood.
We cut it back to 1 1/2 hours. Still too long.
So ultimately we start it only 60 minutes before we need it. Then we move the fire and ash to one side and put the pizzas in. On a tray, so that you can cook enough for upto ten people at a time.
Once one is out and being devoured, another with a different topping goes into cook.
