finished the ceiling in the kitchen, and a lot more

took down the wooden ceiling and restored the original timbers. Then insulated the ceiling and fitted plasterboard inbetween the beams.




 Judith cleans up the units, paints them a luscious dark grey which compliments the bright white walls. We have to make a blackboard, its so useful.

Then its outside to tear down the well. Didn't take a great deal of force, as the ivy had worked its way through the mortar and destroyed the bonding.

Took the ivy out, removed the stones down to the ground and then started rebuilding it back up. Not to its full height, but high enough to be safe and decorative.






It was then time to start on the patio. Removing the indoor tiles and buy some gravel to go on top. Judith made a gravel garden along the side and l built a retaining wall along the end of the higher covered area with a planting section on the top for lavender.







couple of tons of gravel later and it looked a million times better.
