Walking around Espelette - The fresh mountain air, plenty of food and too much drink

Once again we travelled South to go walking in the mountains with our friends, staying at the lodge in Espelette.
Arrived and went into Spain to buy all the food, the odd bottle of wine and the prerequisite Gin for our stay. As per usual, we seem to over indulge in this part of the world. The liver take a real hammering. But its only one or twice a year.
The view from our hostel looking down onto Espelette. The field in front is full of Espelette red peppers.
Traditional Basque haystack, with some right urchins in front
Espelette peppers, protected by barbed wite and electric fences
The question is, DO YOU REALLY KNOW WHERE WE ARE GOING LEADER
