And there is more
More dinners at our new house in France, more dinners out. Weight is going on in Kilos, even though we are still doing TWO FAST DAYS.
Its how l feel, but nor really me. But you had figured that out, hopefully.
Started watching ARNE DAHL on the odd fasting night. Great Danish crime series. But it is rather bloodthirsty and does effect your nights sleep as Judith will validate.
But its a great series and l cant wait to see series TWO. Didn't realise that the series was named after the Author. As popular in the Scandinavian countries as Ian Rankin is in the UK. Although l have never read any of tyhe latters books.
Saying that, l started reading books by Kathy Reichs. They grip you, and you learn so much about anthropology, as used in criminal investigations. All ready read three of her books.
She is a professor of anthropology at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and also works in Canada at Laboratoire des Sciences Judiciaires et de MĂ©decine LĂ©gale for the province of Quebec.
Just up the lane from us takes you past wild Boar. Fortunately, enclosed behind fencing. The farmer breeds them for the Chasse. One of many entrepreneurial activities he seems to get involved with. He has tree houses, a wooden gypsy caravan, and according to our French neighbour, he used to breed hares. He was talking to Judith the other day and said he was hoping to start a gite business. But with a twist. He wanted to breed sheep and goats and keep them under the accommodation.
Hope he provides nose clips to reduce the smell.
Went out for dinner to TORBIERRES. A restaurant that is really just a tin shack smack in the middle of a peat marsh.
Good food, great company. We even saw one of the dreaded beasts swimming behind us. No not anyone we know, just a Coypu, a giant water rat.
Great evening. So good we visited it again with the quarterly dinner group. Another fun evening. The weather was kind to us, the food again excellent, simple but good.
Three course menu for €21.
Below
A hornet showing what it will do once it puts his mind to getting to the sweet honey below.
Its a honey trap to catch hornets. And it was doing very well until this little chap came along. Not so little to be honest.
The hole was not big enough, so he started enlarging the hole.
And he continued untill!!!!
He had removed most of the top.
What a little bugger.
